Welcome to North Suburban Thunder Pop Warner Football! 
North Suburban Pop Warner is a member association of Rocky Mountain Pop Warner. North Suburban Pop Warner exists to teach the skills and fundamentals of football and cheer while developing young men and women of character. 

                                    WHY POP WARNER? 

• Designed for children ages 5-15, Pop Warner Little Scholars Inc. (PWLS) is a non-profit organization that provides youth football, cheer and dance programs for participants in 42 states and several countries around the world.
• Pop Warner is the ONLY youth football program that enforces a strict AGE & WEIGHT MATRIX that reduces the risk and reality of injuries.
• Cheerleaders cheer at football games based on age division and perform halftime dances as well as compete in the Rocky Mountain Pop Warner Cheer Competition!
  
  
• Your child will learn fundamentally sound physical and mental techniques, skills, and habits.

                      POSITIVE EXPERIENCES

• There are no tryouts or cutting of rosters. Mandatory play requirements. EVERYONE plays in EVERY game (not including injured, sick, or scholastically ineligible players)
  
  
• Pop Warner is the only national youth sports organization in America that requires their players to perform adequately in the classroom before permitting them to play.
  
  
• On-field coaching is allowed for younger age levels- this allows coaches to interact with players in a positive manner. Leadership, teamwork and discipline are developed while having fun and making new friends.
